Program Highlight: Halloween Events

Our center hosted spooktacular events this past Halloween season. Members had a blast at the Halloween Dance Party and Monster Mash Tennis Bash. Everyone got into the eerie spirit by dressing up in costumes or Halloween colors.

Dancing with fright and fitness.

On October 24, Halloween songs got bones rattling in the studio for a quality aerobic workout. Every participant focused on raising their cardio performance with chilling routines. Our Halloween Dance Party yielded fiery efforts from hardworking attendees. Teamwork and rhythmic moves resurrected everyone’s endurance levels that autumn day.

Our dance instructor, Kate, shared her excitement. “My favorite part of the Halloween Dance Party was seeing the creativity and energy our members and instructors showed. I love how everyone came together for our shared passion for dance. It was definitely my favorite group fitness event of the year.”

Serving skills and sweets.

Participants brought their spellbinding swinging techniques to the court. On October 25, members strengthened their coordination in the Monster Mash Tennis Bash. The tournament served as a great outlet for individuals to practice volleying with accuracy. Players engaged in continuous movement to support their circulation in our fun and active setting. Our staff even provided Halloween treats at the end of the session for an added ghoul time.

After the match, we asked a participant how she enjoyed the Bash. “My husband and I love cardio tennis. We thought, who would not love a costume and cardio? We loved seeing everyone’s costumes along with some new and familiar faces.  We’re excited to have these fun events with the tennis community.”

 Wellness can be enchanting.
